Get Ready to Embark on Your New Home with CCS

Get ready! The construction of your Tengah home will soon be complete. We can’t wait for you to be living in our nation’s first smart energy township developed with sustainability features like CCS. Here’s a checklist to help you prepare for the move-in:

  • Confirm the pre-installation of your CCS
  • Book an appointment for CCS handover
  • Activate your SP Utilities account before CCS handover
  • Register for MyTengah Smart-Home Protection
  • Engage an interior designer
  • Enjoy your eco-community privileges

Confirm the pre-installation of your CCS

We will notify you on the commencement of pre-installation of your CCS indoor units. Simply reply to let us know you’ve confirmed the pre-installation.

Make Payment for your CCS Indoor Cooling Unit(s)

Please follow the instruction below for the payment for your CCS Indoor Cooling Units:

  • Download the SP App from either the Apple Store or Google Play Store
  • Sign up for an SP App account with your utilities account email address.
    You must have an SP App account in order to make a payment.
  • Navigate to the Indoor Cooling Units Payment:
    From the Home screen, go to More > MyTengah > Indoor Cooling Units Payment.
  • Retrieve Payment Details: Provide your Tengah address and the last four digits of the NRIC of the contract bearer to retrieve payment details.
    Generate QR Code using the SP App. Keep in mind that the QR Code is only valid until 11:59 PM on the same day.
  • Complete Payment: Make the payment using your preferred Bank App.

Please make payment within 14 calendar days from the invoice date. Be reminded to increase your PayNow limit to make CCS indoor cooling units’ full payment.

Other mode of payments such as NETS and Credit Card are available only at MyTengah Experience Centre (TEC) at HDB Hub, Level 2. You may also check with your respective Credit Card issuance banks for instalment payment, if applicable.

Book an appointment for CCS handover

Before your key collection, you will be notified to make an appointment for the handover of your CCS and to receive your CCS welcome pack. You can opt to have the handover at your Tengah flat (strongly recommended) or at MyTengah Experience Centre. You can make an appointment here.

Activate your SP Utilities account before CCS handover

On the day of your key collection, you may proceed to the SPS office at HDB Hub, level 9, to apply for a SP Utilities account. Your utilities account must be activated before your CCS handover. Alternatively, you may choose to activate your utilities account online.

At the CCS handover, you can expect the following:

  • Demonstration on switching on/off your CCS indoor units (only for appointments held at Tengah flats)
  • Information on using the SP Utilities app for CCS
  • CCS welcome pack containing useful guides
  • Sign the handover document

Sign up for your Extended Warranty and Servicing

Servicing Plan:

To maintain optimal performance and efficiency of your indoor fan-coil unit, manufacturers recommend servicing it at least 2-3 times a year, based on your usage patterns.

Benefits:

  • Cleaner and cooler air
  • Energy and cost saving
  • Increase fan coil unit lifespan
  • Prevent water dripping and condensation problems
  • Diagnose irregularities

Servicing works:

  • Clean fan coil unit panel
  • Clean and inspect air filters
  • Clean fan blower
  • Check functionality of fan coil unit
  • Check for water spotted marks
  • Vacuum drain pipe and drainage outlet
  • Check Wi-Fi connectivity readiness and issues, if any

CCS Extended Warranty Plan:

Never stress about unexpected breakdowns again. With an extended warranty, enjoy hassle-free repairs on mechanical and electrical defects. Replacement parts and labour fees are exempt during office hours.

  • Fan Motor
  • Fan Rotor
  • Printed Circuit Board
  • Thermistors

Register for MyTengah Smart-Home Protection

Exclusively for Tengah CCS subscribers, Tokio Marine offers an affordable, specially curated MyTengah Smart-Home Protection Plan (HPP).​​

When unfortunate incidents like fire happen, HPP complements your HDB fire insurance to offer additional home content protection to your CCS, home furnishing and appliances if they are damaged by theft, flood and bursting of domestic water tanks or pipes.

Engage an interior designer

As CCS is pre-installed before you move in, your interior designer can easily advise you on how to create your desired beautiful home, with CCS looking perfect within your newly renovated Tengah home.
