Does the evaporator unit support modes like dry mode, fast cool mode, night/sleep mode?

Given the chiller plants are at the top of the blocks, will this open up the possibility of Legionella Bacteria spreading through the use of centralised cooling?

The centralised cooling system is compliant to NEA requirement for noise, vibration, and Legionella Bacteria. The water is confined in a closed circulating system and will NOT have direct contact with the air. The cooled air is produced locally in the indoor cooling unit located in each house, the same as current split unit in resident home. There is no “central” distribution of air

CCS usage charges came into effect in January 2024 and residents interviewed by Lianhe Zaobao reflected that their chilled water usage bills were lower than expected. Residents felt that the CCS fees are affordable and the system is environmentally friendly. Other residents interviewed also felt that the cooling effect of the CCS has improved after checks. The CCS chilled water usage rates are reviewed and adjusted quarterly.
